Trinity Christian won its home opener 37-0 against Ribault on Friday. After the opening kickoff was muffed by the Trojans, the Conquerors scored an early touchdown. From there, they never looked back as Colin Hurley threw four touchdowns and they scored on a pick six by Keaton Thomas. Here are six takeaways from the contest:
Trinity was without Oklahoma-committed running back Treyuan Webb, and Super 11 selection Cam Miller sparingly played during the game.That wasn’t an issue for the Conquerors.
The top team in the Northeast Florida Power Poll was on a roll from the onset. The opening kickoff was muffed by Ribault, setting Trinity Christian up for an early touchdown to set the tone.
