The field is officially set, and seven high school football teams across Volusia, Flagler and St. Johns counties survived Selection Sunday.
It did not come without a little bit of confusion as MaxPreps released the brackets shortly before the Florida High School Athletic Association verified them, making a couple changes that did not affect local matchups.
Now that everything is in place, let's take a look at the final playoff picture as it pertains to the tri-county area.
The area's three district champions clinched their playoff spots — and first-round home dates — in the third week of October. Bartram Trail, Spruce Creek and Seabreeze learned the identity of their opponents, though, on Sunday morning.
Bartram Trail will have to plan against the triple-option attack of Lake Brantley, which vaulted into the No. 7 seed in Region 1-8A with a 17-14 win over Winter Park. That result also kept surging Flagler Palm Coast and DeLand out of the playoffs.
