Fourth-seeded Lake Mary took down the Volusia-Flagler area's two top baseball teams this week en route to an unlikely district championship.

Embry-Riddle commit Keagan Perez tossed a no-hitter in a 6-0 semifinal win over top-seeded University on Tuesday, and the Rams (15-11) followed that performance with a 5-4 victory against Spruce Creek two nights later at Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium.

Perez faced the minimum number of batters, allowing a single walk to a Titans lineup that entered with a team on-base percentage of .414. He pounded the strike zone and fooled hitters all night with his off-speed offerings.
